Your skin is a reflection of your health. If you are eating foods that are not healthy your skin will tend to let you know by it's reaction to those foods. This goes the same for a healthy diet. Although there is no scientific evidence we are currently aware of which indicates a higher protein diet will reduce acne.

Acne causes contradictions because many experts don't seem to agree on it's actual cause. There are those who say diet won't affect the skin then there are others who say it definitely does. Well for me, a clear skin diet will definitely have a positive effect for most folks!

There is no question in my mind that diet has an affect on my complexion. Any time I indulge in foods that are full of refined sugars my skin breaks out and yells at me to stop. I try to stay with dark chocolate and natural sugars as these cause the least reaction on my skin.
